Lesson Plans: 8/17 to 8/21

Monday, August 17th:

Students will be watching “A History of Horses” video and answering questions over the video. A link to the video will be posted on Google Classroom under the topic “Resources”.

Tuesday, August 18th:

Students will be completing the “Chapter 1: History and Development of the Horse” notes, which will be graded for a daily grade and will need to be put into the student’s composition book. A link to the notes will be posted on Google Classroom under the topic “Notes”.

Wednesday, August 19th:

Students will begin working on the “Chapter 1 Review Questions” worksheet, which will be graded as a daily grade and will be put in the student’s composition book once it has been graded. Students may use their “Chapter 1: History & Development of the Horse” notes and the textbook chapter, “ES2 Chapter 1: History and Development of the Horse,” which located on Google Classroom under the “Textbook Chapters” topic.

Thursday, August 20th:

Students will finishing the “Chapter 1 Review Questions” worksheet, which will be graded as a daily grade and will be put in the student’s composition book once it has been graded. Students may use their “Chapter 1: History & Development of the Horse” notes and the textbook chapter, “ES2 Chapter 1: History and Development of the Horse,” which located on Google Classroom under the “Textbook Chapters” topic.

Friday, August 21st:

Students will be assigned the “Horse Mythological Project” and the “Horse Mythological Project Worksheet,” which will be graded as a test grade and a daily grade respectively. The worksheet will be due by the end of class on Wednesday, August 26th, and the project must be turned in through Google Classroom by no later than 11:59 PM on Wednesday, August 26th. The project details will be posted on Google Classroom under the “Projects” topic.

Horse Mythological Project is due on Wednesday, August 26th.
